Loki is the Norse god of mischief, a character in The Avengers and Thor, and an antagonist in the World War 3 series.  In the novel, he is warped by Ben Hoving's Time Bridge from the Marvel Comics Universe.

Arrival in the Real WorldEdit

In World War 3: Sinister Operations, he makes his first appearance after Ben Hoving uses his time bridge to warp said character into the real world from the Marvel Comics universe.  He then is recruited into the Anarchists, a group of anti-American groups.

World War 3Edit

During the actual war itself, Loki is employed by Ben Hoving to frame Vulture Force and their allies and start the war in order to kick off Operation Grendel.  He sucessfully pulls it off by bombing two locations: the Colosseum and the Telecom Italia Tower in EUR, also in Rome.  He is later seen as a part of the coalition invading Europe in Operation Scorched Earth.  During Operation Grendel itself, he is seen fighting against Vulture Force, but is eventually defeated.

  • He is the first pagan god to be warped in the novel.
  • He is also the first Marvel character to be warped in the novel.
  • He seems to be obsessed with destroying the real world.
  • He is based on British actor Tom Hiddleston.

"I am Loki, god of Asgard.  And I am burdened with glorious powers beyond your comprehension."

- Loki's first words to Ben Hoving after he arrives in the Real World.
